What Guests Are Saying
Findley Campground offers a great, remote experience without the crowds, making it appealing for those seeking solitude. However, there are concerns about the lack of water supply and shared facilities, which may not be clearly communicated in reservations. Additionally, maintenance issues have been noted, suggesting a need for improved management.

In the past few years we have been camping at Findley was always an excellent experience except this time. The site wasn't clean, trash scattered around the vicinity of the campsite. We really like the flush toilets, however no toilet paper was available at times. For a site worth $28, it should at least be clean!

Great campground with very clean bathrooms. We'll definitely be back!
A few call outs:
- Some sites are quite small realistically only fitting one tent and are very close to each other (i.e don't book 4 or 5 unless you're booking both for a group).
- At the moment, the camp map is inaccurate, site 9 is where 10 is, 10 is where 11 is, 11 is where 12 is and 12 is technically missing but is just before where 13 is marked.
- Best spot seemed to be site 13 which was larger/slightly more private.
- A lot of folks come out to this area to do off roading so there is some noise from off roading vehicles.
- One review said this site is not walking distance from the lake which is not true. It's about a 5 min walk to the Woodcamp Day Use site which has a handful of picnic tables, easy lake access, potable water and pit toilets.

Lovely area, Jackson Meadows reservoir is .2 miles away from the campsite. We rented 1 single kayak and 1 canoe. My 15 year old caught a rainbow trout fishing from the kayak. The campsite was a little small, but will still managed to get 2 tents up. Had the standard bear box and picnic table. Water was not far from the campsite. The water pressure from the spout was super high- kind of blasted our dishes when we were cleaning up. We took our minivan there, which wasn't a problem, but I would say most people there had cars with larger tires/ more SUVs and trucks as there are dirt/rocky roads that are more easily navigated with something more robust than a minivan. The campsite had a bathroom, which was fine. No showers. Lots of wildlife- chipmunks were everywhere, and it was remote enough that I thought we might see a bear. The nearby 1 mile interpretive hiking trail was in need of maintenance. If we go next time, I'd like to check out the PCT nearby.

Great campground. Most sites are very spaced out and not right on top of each other. Flush toilets, water, a dumpster and bear boxes are provided which was great. My one complaint is that the map on the website was not accurate. We booked campsite #10 which on the map is showing where #11 is. There was no camp host but we had no issues. It is not by the lake so you can't walk to the lake but we mostly explored other areas like Faucherie Lake etc. No 4x4 needed to access the campground which I saw some other guests mention in other online reviews.

Most of the sites were adequately spaced, all of them we're clean, and the bathrooms were neat and clean. We stayed in No. 9. It was a nice site, though there was only one level tent pad (we had our 20' trailer but I noticed the limited level spots for tents in No. 9). When coming from the East, the last mile-or-so to the campground is rough for travel trailers, but reducing my speed addressed my concerns. Coming from the West (i.e. Bowman Lake) is much rougher and challenging, especially for lower clearance vehicles, vehicles with highway tires, and vehicles pulling trailers. I recommend coming from the East unless you have a high clearance vehicle and all terrain tires (but NOT towing a trailer or driving an RV). If you have a trailer or RV, coming from the East would be significantly less risky.
