Woodcamp Campground

Very clean and quiet. Wonderful camp sites. Very happy with the camp host. Came and let us know a little about the site and told us to have fun. Very pleased with the whole experience. We brought 2 dogs, which needed to be on leashes, and we had 3 kids and two adults. We stayed at campsite 13 and 14. Very nice.

The location was terrific! The campsite did have some trash around upon arrival. The flush toilets were not operable, but vault toilets were available. They hadn’t been emptied for quite some time and were not cleaned. Even when the sign stated a recent cleaning, it was not done. The smell was pretty bad.

Excellent time with quiet hours adhered to it was very peaceful and restorative. Only complaint that the flush toilets weren't working.

We just spent 8 days at Woodcamp campground. I’ve been coming out here for years and this was the first time we had the nicest campground host Dawn. She made sure every site was up to date on reservations, sites were clean ready to use.
Dawn wanted everyone to have a good time and worked from sunrise to sunset.
We couldn’t ask for a better host! We already made plans to come back in September!

Great camp sites, close enough to walk down to the water but high enough to keep the bugs away. Site was clean and easy to get to. Caution as there is a dirt road coming from the north side that is a little rough. Bathrooms were clean and water was available. Camp host was friendly and had plenty of firewood for sale.

Our campsite, #9 was great. It was kind'a in the middle of the campsite, so we were surrounded by everyone else there. The upside was that the grounds were level enough for more than 1 tent if needed. We had lots of space. It was easy to get to the boat ramp. Nice to have running water that needed to be pumped. The grounds were kept neat enough, and past campers left plenty of wood, logs, and planks, which we used some of. Coming from Truckee, the dirt road was not too bad or long, and easy enough for a sedan. Thank you!

No running water, and no notice on the email. No fires due to no camp host made the stay cold and not the greatest. Worst camping trip I've ever had.

Other than no running water and campfires, it was good.

AWFUL! More like sleeping in an uneven parking lot. And without an on site host - the respect for one's neighbors is NON EXISTANT! Easily the rudest group of campers I have EVER experienced. Packed it in after being woken at 615am to a kid screaming "Die, Die!" as he hit everything in sight with a mallet, and another neighbor loudly (and poorly) singing along to explicit music. Not worth the drive.
