What Guests Are Saying
Findley Campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting among the trees, ideal for swimming and kayaking, and is appreciated for its remote atmosphere without crowds. Reserved spot #3 which is a shared parking pad with #2. There are no spots for a tent and the fire pit is also shared. None of this is disclosed. Pictures should be posted of each spot as the site supports it but it’s not done. Sadly, the campground is not maintained well from what it sounds like early retirement opted by numerous forest serviceman in that area.

No water supply. USFS should take over management from NID.

Peaceful, pretty, but do yourself a favor and bring a roll of toilet paper. No one checked the bathroom facilities the 3 days I spent there and TP ran out on 1st day.

My reserved campsite number 4 was taken by someone else. There was no one around to resolve the issue. I had to camp on the side of the road, not in the campsite I paid for.

Beautiful area, great swimming and kayaking. The road in the camp is really bad, with tree roots making huge speed bumps, so be careful. I wish the camp was closer to the water - you have to drive.

Very nice campsite in the trees. Very peaceful. My only complaint is the booking system did not seem to indicate there were other campgrounds a little closer to the lake.
