Findley Campground offers a peaceful and beautiful setting among the trees, ideal for swimming and kayaking, and is appreciated for its remote atmosphere without crowds. It was a really nice campground and there is ample space between camps. But, as RVs are also allowed, there could be some generator noises. We had amazing night sky views. We took Spot 6, and were car camping. Like others said, this spot makes it difficult for the car to get closer to the camping area. So we pitched our tent on the tarmac itself. The ride leading to the campground can get a bit bumpy.
The toilets are clean, but get your own soap and toilet paper.

I was a bit concerned, because we couldn’t get any water on the other side of the lake and the dump station was closed because of water supply problem. But everything was fine on the Findlay side. Only two other campers in the campground while we were there, though it was Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. The lake level was very low, but we still found some good spots to go swimming. The road into the as still as rough as it ever was. Washboard and Rocky on the dirt part and potholes on the paved section.
The forest service was pointing their finger at the irrigation district, and vice versa, regarding who was responsible for the lack of water in the campgrounds. Overall, we had a great time! No bears!

Very nice campsite in the trees. Very peaceful. My only complaint is the booking system did not seem to indicate there were other campgrounds a little closer to the lake.

Beautiful area, great swimming and kayaking. The road in the camp is really bad, with tree roots making huge speed bumps, so be careful. I wish the camp was closer to the water - you have to drive.

My reserved campsite number 4 was taken by someone else. There was no one around to resolve the issue. I had to camp on the side of the road, not in the campsite I paid for.

Peaceful, pretty, but do yourself a favor and bring a roll of toilet paper. No one checked the bathroom facilities the 3 days I spent there and TP ran out on 1st day.
