What Guests Are Saying
Pass Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, spacious and clean campsites, and peaceful atmosphere, especially mid-week. The lake offers a serene environment for activities like paddleboarding, and visitors often feel safe and comfortable. However, some issues have been noted, such as the absence of a camp host leading to noise disturbances and restroom supplies running low, as well as problems with potable water availability and reservation management.

Beautiful, clean and quiet campground. Unfortunately the weather was cool and windy, but we plan a return trip.

Campground and bathrooms were very clean. Camp host was the best, our second year with this great couple.
Evenings were quiet with all generators off before 10pm.

What a wonderful place to get away. Lake is a little low, but still a great get-away. Highly recommended

Beautiful spot! Only downside was we couldn’t have a fire.

My visit happened to fall in the middle of the August 2020 wildfires, so the smoke was at the peak worst throughout the state, but wasn’t too terrible at this site. Lots of shade and trees that filtered a decent amount of the bad air. There are both vaulted and flushing toilets, no showers, but had a good amount of site space. Jackson Meadows Reservoir was beautiful, it would be great for people with a boat.
My negatives are that if you don’t have a boat, there weren’t too many hiking trail options, most days we drove an hour to elsewhere to explore. My other negative are people not picking up after their dogs, I discovered a growing number of dog feces surrounding my site throughout my stay. Please do not let your dogs wander out of your sight and let them defecate just anywhere.

We stayed at site 2. For our 28 folt coleman bunkhouse just fine. A little on the narrow side. Couldn't use the awning. Firepit and table all in the back of the site. Campground is very nice. Short walk downhill to the lake. Lake is beautiful. We will definitely add this place to our lists of stops during the summer months. Only negative was how many people park terribly along the loop and make it difficult to navigate when leaving. Not the grounds fault though.
