A lot of deer and wild turkeys near our site. Clean, mostly flat pad. Site 12 is just too close to the main road. Tons of traffic early in the morning as boater come in. Also, not as much safe as needed. It gets very hot in the afternoon. Ranger was by multiple times a day. Bathroom was clean. Showers worked fine. A group of campers in our area were very loud after 10pm(quiet hours). Acorn sites are no where near swimming. Overall, I had a good time but would prefer a different site in the future.

Campsite was clean, but had tall weeds. Bathrooms were closed - Porta potty was supplied, but bathrooms are better. Previous camper did not clear out until after 2pm

Me encantó este lugar, el acceso al agua para nadar es muy riesgoso en esa área, para pesca está bien pero para nadar no, pero cerca está un área más accesible solo hay q caminar un poquito y todo bien, nos tocó ver venados muy d cerca, los baños están limpios, las regaderas no estaban disponibles, nos tocó buen lugar

Fair. Condition, cleanliness, activities, etc - fair. Trails need some work, not that clean but fine, disc golf course was unusable, lady ranger was a bit unpleasant, wanting me to park on the road on the peninsula, instead of the pullout...she could use some guidance and/or personalization skills, but everything was fair/fine, just needs some attention. Same goes for pricing. If it's not going to be ready, prices should reflect.

From Sacramento take 99 S, 88 W and 12 E to San Andreas. Take 49 S for approximately 20 miles. Turn right onto Reynolds Ferry Road and follow the road 2 miles to the recreation area.
From Central California and the Bay Area take 80 E, 580 E then 205 E to 120 E in Manteca. Take the exit for 120 E/99 N. Continue on 120 E. Take 108 E to 49N. Turn left onto Reynolds Ferry Road and follow the road 2 miles to the recreation area.

The recreation area entrance gate closes at 9:00pm. Vehicle entry after the gate is closed is prohibited. Exit at any time. |

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. During quiet hours, loud noise is prohibited. Excessive noise (audible beyond 50ft) at any time is prohibited. |

Camping fees include boat launch and day-use fees. Two vehicles are permitted in standard campsites. One vehicle is permitted in walk-to sites. All vehicles must display a campground vehicle tag or an overflow vehicle parking receipt.Vehicles must remain on paved roads and parking spots. Off-roading is prohibited. |

Campfires are only allowed in fire rings or grills in designated areas. Campfires must be attended at all times and extinguished completely before leaving.Campers may collect only dead and down wood for campfires. Chainsaw use is not allowed on property.During National Weather Service "Red Flag Warning" days and facility fire bans, wood and charcoal fires will not be permitted. |
