This is a really beautiful campground, with great spacing between sites, lots of open space around the sites, and it never seemed crowed, though I'm sure it was pretty full. The concessionaire does an excellent job of keeping the place clean and running like a clock.

Spacious site, close to bike trail which was primary criteria for picking location. Host staff told we had bear visitors mid day Saturday but all eatables were in bear locker (don’t forget to put your food away as bears extremely active in the area) and we were out biking so never saw one.

We love camping at Fallen Leaf Lake. Many of the sites are fairly large and the bathrooms are always clean. We love being able to walk/hike to many lakes and our black lab does as well.

Had a nice time…..fine Sierra weather….good runoff with lots of snow leftover. Shower hot water was up to 99 - 100 degrees from past years where it was tepid at most. Lots of freaking generators with no regulation. Sad. Campground hosts do a nice job keeping the sites and bathrooms tidy.

We stayed this campground 2 nights. Location is away from main town which I really liked. Quiet and peaceful. Bathroom and hot shower are pretty clean. Black bear walked by around 1AM next to our site. Don't leave any foods! The rangers here were so nice and friendly. Really loved the beautiful lake you can walk by like 10 min from campground. I will definitely go back again.
