What Guests Are Saying
Kaspian Campground offers breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an incredible camping experience. The well-maintained site features clean facilities, easy access to hiking trails, and a spacious layout. However, campers should be prepared for limited visibility at night, bear activity, and some challenges with carrying supplies due to the campsite's elevation.

Camping was an incredible experience! This particular campsite was fantastic, located just across the street from the lake that provided breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. There were numerous hiking trails nearby, perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and immersing ourselves in nature.
The site itself was well-maintained, and I appreciated how clean it was. The restrooms were conveniently located and, while they weren't exactly luxurious, they were manageable and typically tidy. After all, we are camping, so one should have realistic expectations about amenities!
I also want to remind fellow campers and tourists to please keep your area tidy and respect the natural environment. It’s essential to leave nothing behind and appreciate the beauty around us. Additionally, I urge everyone to refrain from smoking. Being considerate of your neighbors is crucial, as we all share this lovely planet together. Let’s do our part to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone!

We were sandwiched between two groups of way more than 6 people at each site and one group had a dog off leash the whole time. I wish the host would have intervened.

Beautiful campsite there's a few cons:
-There are 27 steps you have to take up to get to your campsite. It was exhausting. If you're camping here I'd pack light unless you're in really good shape.
- Also the bathrooms and the water spickets are down the stairs too.
-The bear activity is no joke. Around 4am a bear got into the dumpster and We had a bear come through our campsite and get into all of our stuff even though we didn't have any food out. We had to flee our tent because the bear was so close to our tent
-It was nice to be close to the water but you have to cross the busy 89 to get to it. There is some highway noise.
Just things to consider before camping here.
Pros:
-The scenery was gorgeous the sunrise was unreal.
-It is easy to get to the day use area that has picnic tables and benches
-easy beach access
-no generator noise
