The campground and resort as a whole were fantastic. The restrooms and showers in the RV campground were the only bad part about the resort. They are in terrible shape and need to be completely renovated.

Water and electricity station was 5m away from RV site so we were not able to hook up. The reception offered us another site which we used. 2hrs later a ranger came and advised us to leave the new site since it had been booked. The person at the reception said to the ranger that she never offered us the new site. So we had to go back to our first site and spend the time at the camp without water and electricity.

It was our first RV experience, and it was amazing. The campground is fantastic and very close to Lake Tahoe. We'll be back again and I definitely recommend it.

Showers need to be updated, they are showing their ages. I've never been to an RV Site and dogs weren't allowed, I'm not a pet owner but maybe they should consider no children. They rode their bikes contantly and were very loud. I will not be staying here again.

This was our first time camping at Camp Richardson. We absolutely loved the experience. Everything was close to the RV campgrounds. We were able walk to the coffee shop, ice cream shop and the beach. Make sure you take advantage of everything they have to offer.
We rented the bikes and rode on the bike path around the lake and also rented jet skis at the marina. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. This was a trip that our kids will remember for years.
