It was a great and memorable trip to Lake Tahoe. The workers on the front desk were very helpful and let us use the bathroom since the campgrounds bathrooms were closed for the year.
Hands down very reliable since all the other campgrounds where closed for the season

The setup for full hookups is very wonky. Had to buy more hoses for the connection to reach. It’s a beautiful place. But could use updating. No security seen at all.

Where the electricity and water were located was very awkward and not in the right place

The RV Village is located 3 miles south of Tahoe City, on California Highway 89 (Emerald Bay Road).
From Sacramento, take U.S. Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe and proceed north past the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Highway 89 (the "Y"). Look for the Camp Richardson Resort sign on the right side of the Highway.
From North Shore (I-80, Reno, Truckee) take Highway 89 or U.S. Highway 50 to South Shore.
The campground is accessible via California Highway 89, located approximately 3 miles south of Tahoe City. U.S. Highway 50 is also nearby, providing access to South Lake Tahoe.

4.5 mi drive to downtown South Lake Tahoe (about 9 min)
