We had a wonderful time staying at Camp Richardson RV campground. It is right across the street from the Valhalla event center and the lake. The showers were hot and clean. If you are heading to Tahoe to camp or even staying in a Hotel, Camp Richardson has it all.

When we arrived, checkin was seamless at the hotel desk. We found site #90 was more sloped than we could rectify with leveling blocks. We moved to site 89 which was more level. We had to move to site #6 on Monday which was perfectly level. Met some great people. Had wonderful weather topped off with a thunderstorm and Thunderhail storm. We will be back.

If you're booking an RV slot at Camp Richardson secure your space as soon as reservations are open. The park fills up very quickly. We enjoyed the amenities and easy access to a variety of activities.

Most campsites are on a hill so they're not level and sloped be prepared to have to have more than a normal effort and equipment to level out your trailer. Beautiful scenery resort is really nice, but there is really nobody to help at the campsite. No campsite host also the site says they are usually sold out but most the time half the campground is full. I would go back but would be better prepared for unlevel spots. Also very limited full hook up mostly water and electric and if you do get a full hook up you may have to pull your in the opposite way therefore, if you do have a full hook up, you can't take advantage of it because you're running uphill. Overall, I would go back, but I would be better prepared.
