The lock on the gate doesn’t work. There were people in their camping that we had to ask to leave and multiple people tried to come in and camp while we were there.

Nice, quiet and peaceful place to camp. Definitely recommend warm clothes and extra blankets.

From Interstate 5, take the exit for Willows/Oroville Hwy 162 and head west. After about 23 mi turn right at the junction at County Road 306. Travel approximately four miles, then turn left onto 162/Forest Highway 7. After approximately 30 mi turn right at the Masterson Group Campground sign and follow the road for a quarter-mile to the gated entrance.
Highway access
The campground is accessible from Interstate 5 via Willows/Oroville Hwy 162, which is approximately 23 miles from the interstate. After exiting, travelers continue on Hwy 162 for about 30 miles before reaching the campground.
