Roads in the park are narrow and the campground is surrounded by houses. That said it was wonderful! Well maintained, camp host extremely friendly, big trees, quiet, can walk to Tahoe city, the bike trail, market and restaurants. We will be back

The campground was extremely clean and run very well. The campground hosts were exceptional in doing their job and made the experience wonderful. Campground convenient to Tahoe City, restaurants, the bike trail, and beach.

The location of the campground was outstanding. Being near the lake, but not too near the busiest areas was a plus. We were able to launch our kayaks, ride our bikes, go to dinner at Sunnyside Restaurant, play pickle ball at nearby Kilne Park, and sit on the pebbled beach; all attractions being within easy walking and biking distance. Being a mile south of the busy Tahoe City center made for a relaxing experience. The campground itself was well-kept and pleasant. The only negative we can think of is that about a third of the campsites were too close (within full view) to neighborhood homes. We recommend you book campsites in the lower half and interior areas to avoid looking at the side of someone's house.

Good Campground. RV dump is available. But when host is not available in the morning, no place to pay, especially when leaving early morning. Other than that, everything is good. Best campground that close to the lake.

This is a beautiful, quiet campground. We were there before school got out for the summer so I imagine it gets busy with families in the height of the summer. We had our bikes and this campground is a perfect spot to hop on the trail in either direction and ride along the lake. We camped among the trees in a large roomy spot. The bathrooms were kept clean and water was easily accessible. Access to the beach across the street was perfect for sunset viewing. We will definitely be back.

- Please Note: One vehicle per single site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicles will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. Yurt fee includes one vehicle.
- All campers must register with camp host. Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Forest Order No. 19-15-01: Prohibits camping for a combined total of no more than 14 days during a calendar year (January-December), forest-wide. Visitors may book campsites annually but the maximum stay may not exceed a total of 14 days each calendar year (January-December).
- Bears frequent the area; use appropriate food storage containers
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground
- Chainsaw use and hunting are prohibited in the area
- Limit of two pets per campsite; pets are not allowed on the beaches. Pets are not allowed inside Yurts.
- Please keep boats clean, drained and dry, to avoid transport or introduction of aquatic invasive species
- Maximum of six people per site and 1 RV per site.
- Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures click here Fire Information
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
