William Kent is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff is outstanding and they keep the grounds pristine and always have great communication. The sites are in outstanding shape compared with other campgrounds and pretty level. The lengths are accurate and easy to get into. Bathrooms are clean and bear boxes in every spot as far as I know. We use solar so we need some sun and 74 was pretty good and we topped off with our small generator. Water is available near the dump station when you come in. The small beach across the street is really cool. We love it here!

Loved it. The location is close to the beach, a market, and bike rentals (if you don’t bring your own). The sunsets are beautiful, and a few moments walk from the campground, to the ocean.

This review is I’ll be short, since as I arrived at my campsite around 4pm for an overnight stay, an unreported mountain thunderstorm formed to rain down upon me. The campsite looked nice, and was blocked off well enough from other sites, but I spent my whole night in my tent, reading and listening to the rain fall onto my tent. The bathrooms were ok for campsite bathrooms, although there were strangely no mirrors in there. I’d recommend a stay here.

Awesome campground and walking distance to lots of stuff. The yurt was so comfortable and fun! Large campsites with plenty of parking.

General
- Please Note: One vehicle per single site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicles will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. Yurt fee includes one vehicle.
- All campers must register with camp host. Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Forest Order No. 19-15-01: Prohibits camping for a combined total of no more than 14 days during a calendar year (January-December), forest-wide. Visitors may book campsites annually but the maximum stay may not exceed a total of 14 days each calendar year (January-December).
- Bears frequent the area; use appropriate food storage containers
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground
- Chainsaw use and hunting are prohibited in the area
- Limit of two pets per campsite; pets are not allowed on the beaches. Pets are not allowed inside Yurts.
- Please keep boats clean, drained and dry, to avoid transport or introduction of aquatic invasive species
- Maximum of six people per site and 1 RV per site.
- Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures click here Fire Information
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
