The camp hosts at William Kent Campground are excellent. They step up to the call at all hours when a bear enters the campground and bravely chase the bear with the golf cart. The restrooms are kept clean. They deal with campers that violate quiet hours. Excellent team!

I had a great time camping here. The host was very kind and welcoming. We had an encounter with a bear. It was very docile but we still kept distance. Highly recommend this sight to anyone!!!

NIce place to camp if a bit closed in by neighborhoods and the highway. Be sure to follow the guidelines for co-existing with bears, they are around.

The hosts and hostesses at this campground are the best! They attend to the sites and the restrooms with great diligence and care, even with at maximum capacity. They are friendly and easy to communicate one's needs with. Thank you : )

Shhh. Don't tell anyone about this campground. It is the best deal in all of Tahoe. Near everything and on the right side of traffic, meaning very little traffic. It is well kept. Dump station is a plus and the bathrooms are modern and clean. We were pulling a 25 ft trailer and had no trouble getting through the campground, but larger rigs might. Clearance is not quite 14 ft. to most branches and trees.
TIP: Listen to the camp hosts when they tell you to not eat outside after 9pm. They told us it was an open invitation for bears to join you. We don't eat that late, but the people in the site next to us did. A large bear came into their camp, chased the 2 people into their truck and then raided all of their food on the table and in the open bear box! Then, the bear ran through the whole campground. A bear visited the campground 2 nights after that, as well.

The hosts were great and worked tirelessly keeping the campground clean and chasing away the bears. It was a quiet and peaceful campground. The beach across the road was excellent. Twenty minutes south Eagle Falls is a great hike.
