De campground is mooi gelegen, maar de smalle en scherpe bochten en steile hellingen maken de campground minder geschikt voor grotere campers. De camping is vrij druk en er is maar een klein strandje met kiezels.
Het personeel is wel heel vriendelijk.

Awesome location close to the lake but away from crowds. Very close to Tahoe City for EV charging.
You need to find good sites which are aplenty. Some campsites close to the perimeter are next to homes.

Nice and quiet campground. Great location a short walk to the lake with beach access. A few good restaurants are within within walking distance. Bike trails near the entrance will take you along the lake to Meeks Bay or along the river to Pallisades.

Site #25 was perfect for our 21'TT and truck. Nice, clean flushing bathroom steps away, yet out of view. The campground hosts were very pleasant and helpful. They keep the entire campground immaculate.

The camp sites and bathrooms were very clean. However, I think it would be nice to have loaner life-jackets at the WILLIAM KENT beach for swimmers/paddlers that either forgot theirs or don't have one.

Clean, beautiful, flushing toilets, nice location for biking and hiking. Small beach rocky and shaded gets too crowded. Cute restaurants and coffee shop near. One camp host super nice! The other camp host really cranky. If you have a larger trailer, make sure you get one of the larger spots or else can be pretty impossible to park. I would recommend!

Bathrooms were well maintained and camp hosts/personnel were very friendly. Some campers were pretty loud after 10pm curfew but not more than maybe 30 min to an hour after the 10pm curfew.

We had a great stay here. The road through the campground is a bit narrow in spots and required careful maneuvering, and some of the sites are not very level, but it's a beautiful campground and a great location. The beach right across the main road is a good kayak launching spot and the West Shore bike trail runs right past as well. There is a small market across the road as well as the Sunnyside Lodge with their large deck for outdoor dining on the lake. This campground is high on our list of places to come back to.

- Please Note: One vehicle per single site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicles will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground. Yurt fee includes one vehicle.
- All campers must register with camp host. Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Forest Order No. 19-15-01: Prohibits camping for a combined total of no more than 14 days during a calendar year (January-December), forest-wide. Visitors may book campsites annually but the maximum stay may not exceed a total of 14 days each calendar year (January-December).
- Bears frequent the area; use appropriate food storage containers
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground
- Chainsaw use and hunting are prohibited in the area
- Limit of two pets per campsite; pets are not allowed on the beaches. Pets are not allowed inside Yurts.
- Please keep boats clean, drained and dry, to avoid transport or introduction of aquatic invasive species
- Maximum of six people per site and 1 RV per site.
- Using the pre-check in will require you to check in with the campground office upon arrival.
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures click here Fire Information
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.
