Nice, well maintained park in a great location. Easy walk to the lake. Bike paths made getting around easy. The shoreline was beautiful- boat and kayak rentals nearby.
Be aware of local food conditioned bears. We had an encounter with one at dinner time. After running a family off their dinner table and eating all their food the bear made its way to our site. We had time to lock up our dinner, but the bear came over to our table anyway. We yelled at it, and it proceeded further into the campsite.

Lovely site in this small campground across the street from Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed the close access to the bicycle trail that goes for miles along the lake shore

They did nothing to abate the yellow jackets that were aggressive and biting. The bears are out of control and aggressively approached people and stole their food while they were cooking. Out of control one bear ripped into the tent if a young woman no food if any kind in tent. Terrible experience had to go and eat out

We had a wonderful camping experience! The campground was peaceful, beautiful, and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Our site was comfortable, and we really enjoyed the surrounding trees and scenery. It was the perfect getaway from the busy everyday routine.

Love this campground. It is clean and friendly as well as close to so many conveniences like restaurants, bike trails, hikes and kayaking. We always love the short climb to Eagle Rock, pickleball at Kilner Park, biking to Olympic Park and eating at Fireside Pizza along with picking up sandwiches at the Tahoma deli and eating at one of the many picnic tables around the Lake Tahoe shore.

Absolutely loved this campground! It was easy to find and had great access to Tahoe City for necessities. The camp hosts and staff were all extremely nice and knowledgable. The restrooms were very clean as were the rest of the grounds. I would love to go back and camp again!
