What Guests Are Saying
Horse Creek Campground offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere, making it a delightful choice for families and nature enthusiasts. While some amenities, particularly restrooms and showers, were closed or in poor condition, many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the portable toilets and the overall beauty of the site. The campground's proximity to Sequoia National Park and friendly rangers contributed to a positive experience for most campers, despite minor maintenance issues.

While this could be a great campsite with good access to both national park and amenities, we specifically booked a site to have showers and restrooms for the night. We had no prior warning that the showers would be down and only porta pottys put outside. Also, the gates were supposed to be closed for security which was not done. There was clearly someone living out of there car right by our site with trash all over.

It is inexcusable that you cannot reserve same-day at this campground. There is absolutely no reason for it to be that way. Rangers come by frequently and they are able to check reservations and will ask you to leave because you can’t make a same day reservation, yet there are dozens of campsites unoccupied that could be filled, yet you can’t reserve same day. Make it make sense…. This is a huge wasted opportunity and frustration

Horrible campsite nowhere close to advertised! Website claims - "Amenities include flush toilets, showers and a dump station." Bathrooms closed due to 'water failure' but no update to the website to notify users. Looks like the 'failure' has been this way for some time - portable potties setup to block the doors. No staff to be found onsite at night or in the morning as I wanted to cancel my second night stay.

Some of the campsites are not very good from the flooding. Get a lower site. Showers are good.

The rangers there are always very friendly. We have great time whenever we go. There wasn't any water for the showers or restrooms but it was stated on the website so we came prepared.
