What Guests Are Saying
Horse Creek Campground offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere, making it a delightful choice for families and nature enthusiasts. While some amenities, particularly restrooms and showers, were closed or in poor condition, many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the portable toilets and the overall beauty of the site. The campground's proximity to Sequoia National Park and friendly rangers contributed to a positive experience for most campers, despite minor maintenance issues.

The restrooms were closed and the portable potty/restroom were disgusting and not clean.
We had booked 2 nights but decided to stay only one night. We were really disappointed with this reservation.

Good location near Sequoias, but not very quiet. There is a lot of road noise from traffic passing and due to the location and geography you are surrounded by the roads on multiple sides. Bathrooms were broken or messy while there. Some of the campers were very loud with their music too. Host was very helpful. My site didn't look like its pictures and didn't have a good tent space despite being a tent only site. Otherwise it wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't the most relaxing place. Good views of the reservoir though!

Beautiful location and close to the entrance to Sequoia NP. One of the bath houses is currently out of order, but they’ve got port-a-potties outside and the other one works fine.

The site was in a good spot, sparsely populated and the facilities that were open were clean and useful.

We were notified that there was problems with the bathroom near the registration building, but not that there would be raw sewage left in the open. We were camping for 6 days and was exposed to that smell every time the wind brought it our way. The problem was identified by unearthing the sewer pipes but no steps were taken to fix it. It is still not fixed 3 weeks later according to recreation.gov alert.
