Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Sentinel campground was perfect for our needs and convenient for exploring King's Canyon NP. It's not glamorous, no electricity or water at each campsite, but there are bathrooms and potable water spigots not far away. Road's End with lots of hiking is very close by.

Absolutely loved amping down in the canyon. So quiet and serene. The grounds and facilities are well cared for. We were on site number 9 which was convenient to trash and restrooms. It does get cold at night so be prepared, and be diligent to follow bear safety rules.

At the end of the road! Reservations are needed and we seemed to get the last one online. However, many campsites with Reserved signs were unoccupied. Odd.

Hello. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip at the campgrounds. Kinga Canyon and Sequoia are beautiful but Sentine Campground is the spot. There is access to so many places, tons of view points, and stunning stars at night. We happened to be there on an unusually cold weekend but packed adequately and managed to stay warm. The temp dip is from like 60s to 30s at night so be prepared. Beautiful trees, nice trails, fresh air! 👌

Trash cans were full, ranger was friendly and attentive of the grounds, bathrooms were in fair condition for a campground.

Lovely spot surrounded by all the trees. Toilets basic but no issues. Fully Recommend.
