What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Lovely campsite right next to the river, lots of space and could watch the deer drinking from the river every afternoon. Very peaceful.

No light in the bathrooms. No showers. No breakfast service at the lodge. Pay phones are a ripoff. Park staff was a bit ignorant of trails. Stayed in campsite 19. It was probably the best site in the campground. It was large with lots of distance from other sites. It backed on the river. Very pleasant.

Site #76 is excellent for tent camping, location to the Rae Lakes Loop trailhead is very good for an early morning departure. Campground facilities are very good and if you need the comforts of home... well, the Cedar Grove Lodge, mini-mart, and restaurant is a short walk/drive away. Two thumbs up!

Great campground with nice amenities and plenty of space. Love all the trees and shade, it was great to have a river close by as well. We had a phenomenal time
