What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

Bathrooms were not as clean as I would have hoped. No electricity or soap in them at the time, and somewhat dirty. Outdoor sink to wash dishes in was great because it meant people could use that instead of washing dishes etc near the fill up spigots.

Very quiet and tranquil campground. At the entry to Kings Canyon. Just wake up, and go hiking. The river runs next to the campground and provides a good cool down, with safety considered, and excellent ambient noise.

I enjoy camping in Cedar Grove, it has everything, the river, waterfalls, meadows, pine trees, hiking trails,to name a few.

Quiet, isolated campground. No lighting in restrooms. Sign indicated “full” but very few campers. Long drive to valley took too long. Will not camp here again.
