This is a wonderful campsite. The individual sites were spacious and spaced apart comfortably. The shade of the trees provided great shade during the heat of the day in the middle of summer. This should be considered if you are dependent on sun exposure for any solar panel power needs. The camp is adjacent to the river and provided easy access to the water. Bear activity is a real so recommended precautions should be heeded. There is no cellular access in the area.

We had a great experience at Sentinel campground!! Although bears visited Sentinel every night, our group enjoyed the experience of seeing bears at night and during the day in different areas. Just leave them alone, and follow the rules and there's absolutely nothing to fear!!! Lots of water, and the weather was just perfect. Hiked up to mist falls and, again it was beautiful. Sentinel campground is kept clean, and the park rangers are always around making sure everything is good and safe! Can't waint to go back!!

We lost almost a day due that the people before us didn’t leave. To make matters worse they didn’t have reservations until they went to make a phone call to find an empty site. Meanwhile we didn’t know what to do. The rangers try to help but their hands were tie.
