What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

My family and I really loved the campsite that we reserved. We were close to the river and restrooms were clean. our campsite had alot of space and trees for our hammocks. Would definitely reserve this site again.

Quiet and beautiful. Mist Falls is a must if you don't mind a somewhat strenuous hike.

Sentinel was clean, quiet, and a great substitute when not boone-docking/disperse camping in the national forest.
I'm grateful to the family I bumped into at the ranger station because I had no idea I could call to book on the same day and wasn't sure where I'd be hunkering down.
Although big rigs can get through Sentinel it seemed a bit tight so go gingerly.
There appeared to be many families enjoying their stay, having campfires, sharing stories, Mayberry type of stuff.
Food lockers, garbage cans were clean and well maintained.
People with dogs were courteous and following the rules which made dog interactions enjoyable, indeed.
The gentleman who was on patrol was kind and full of useful advice which helped me figure out my plans for my next stop.
