What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

I've been to this campground dozens of times in the past 40+ years.
It's always been a good experience.
The location is perfect , seems to be properly maintained. Wish there was more "staff" around on occasion if/when needed.
I like being next to the creek first choice....river second.
Having showers opened would be helpful but I know its probably not possible at all times.

The middle campsites are way too close together and with a large group next to you, can be quite annoying and loud. The location is great, and the surrounding areas and rivers are fantastic.

This campground had big sites so your not camping right on top of each other. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Just make sure your gas tank is filled up before you start into the parks. The camp grounds were very nice with plenty of room for each site. The fun part arriving was following Rt. 180 through Sequoia to the camp grounds. It offered amazing views of King’s Canyon but it is not for the faint of heart.
