What Guests Are Saying
Sentinel Campground is well-maintained, clean, and set in a beautiful location near the river with ample hiking opportunities and great privacy between sites. Campers appreciate the friendly rangers and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in quieter months. While some facilities had minor issues, overall, guests enjoy a fantastic experience in nature.

As close to nature as you can get. Yet convenient bathrooms. The river close to where I stayed (159) made a nice ambient noise that makes you love nature.

Great campground with diverse site options. Only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed our site on the outer loop. I caught and released two trout in the morning before leaving the site. We even enjoyed an ice cream cone at Kings Canyon Lodge on our way out. We will be back to Sentinel again.

Lovely campground by the river. Has water, flush toilets, and bear boxes. The sound of the river at night is very calming. There's a nice meadow but the sites closer to it do have mosquitoes in May at least. No showers at the moment.

Wonderful campground in the middle of the woods, near the river. Great views on the way to the campground (mountains).
Flush toilets, no showers, no soap for some reason. Big sites, trees all around.
