Beware that there is still no potable water available at the campground this year. The website indicated that low-pressure water would be available, but there was none during our stay. There was also no camp host on site yet.

We enjoy camping here and will likely return, but having access to water would make a big difference. Be sure to bring all the water you’ll need.

When we made our reservation, and again via email before our arrival, we were advised that potable water was not available. Stating that water was completely unavailable—rather than just "non-potable"—would have been much more accurate and helpful. Because of the wording, we assumed that non-potable water would still be available for washing and camp chores, which was not the case.

As a suggestion for future planning: given how much solar and battery technologies have improved—reducing the overall reliance on generators—it would be wonderful if a portion of the campground could be designated as permanently generator-free.

Very pleasant and quiet. Lots of families. We were in site 7 which is a long way to the closest restroom, the furthest I have experienced. Saw people using the woods instead. Other than that it was nice and would stay there again.

The lake was wonderful for kayacking and swimming. However, there was no camphost in mid June this year and the vault toilets were not attended to the 3 days we were there. The outhouses all ran out of toilet paper!!! That's not okay. If the campground has had to cut costs by eliminating a host, then a park ranger should come by daily to check the toilets.

This is a beautiful campground but very dusty and the road in and out needs serious maintenance. It’s a shame our tax dollars don’t cover road maintenance and throwing down some wood chips or gravel.

The lake and campsite were beautiful but I was very disappointed to learn there was no water after I rode my bike 50 miles. Luckily I had stocked up in Truckee. Still it would have been good information in advance

We had a nice stay fishing wasn't very good. That's okay. Did a lot of kayaking. And paddle boarding had a lot of fun.
