Great location for Mastodon Peak hike, palm oasis, and the visitor center. Also the access to water and dump station is great. The sites are close together.

Always a great place to stay! Clean bathrooms with soap in the dispenser. The Rangers at the visitor center are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous spot! We chose a pull-in campground for easy access for our travel trailer. Got in late but WOW the next morning opened the door to a beautiful sight. Very well kept campground with potable water, sewer dump and restrooms and lots of walking trails. Loved the fire ring at our campsite. Would definitely stay again. So grateful for our National Parks and campgrounds.

Campsite was great. The star viewing was incredible in this part of the park. Campsite was spacious with plenty of level ground for the tent. The sites are close together, so bring some ear plugs if you want to be in bed early. The desert oasis hike connects to the campground and is a really pretty morning walk.

This was our first ever camping trip and this location was also great to see the shooting stars. There were plenty of camping sites that were spaced apart well for privacy but close if you are camping with friends and family. The restrooms were clean but the only thing that was missing in the women’s rest room was soap. I liked how close the restrooms are to each site. It definitely helps when you have to go in the middle of the night in the dark. This is a nice location even if you’re passing through on the interstate for a nights rest or if you plan to visit the park the next day. The campsites are clearly marked, there are picnic tables at each site and a designated parking spot or two for each site. It was a great first experience and I would visit again.
