Great location for star viewing and some trails in the south end of the park. Kind of far from popular attractions and Joshua Tree town.

Site was wonderful, especially for those with some type of camper. There is a water hookup and dump station near this campsite. Overall, public spaces were maintainined; I found the bathrooms to be clean the whole time. Despite it being somewhat full, it was still a quiet area. There was easy access to a good number of trails, however, if you want the Joshua Trees, you will need to stay at the northern side of the park. Otherwise, awesome experience. Will stay here again.
