At first, they assigned us to a site that wasn’t big enough for us, even though we specified the size when registering.
In the end, we just moved to another spot and it was great.

Since we camped in the off-season (August) we basically had the campground to ourselves!
Very quiet, clean bathrooms, great night skies - perfect.
We also had a pack of coyotes howling fairly close by - that was great to experience.

Only spent one night at the campsite and it was a perfect location, close enough to the restroom and well taken care of camp ground.

I loved the dark sky’s and the proximity to Lost Palms Oasis. Located within a 10 minute drive from a gas station where you can buy wood, water, and other supplies. However, the campground was noisy at night and morning with the weekend warriors arriving on Friday. Not a great place to stay if you want peace and solitude in the evening.

We were in loop B @ 18B- the fire pit is to close to bushes thought this was a hazard, really close to neighboring tents, no lights in the women’s restroom, and the noise levels were very high. Kids running and screaming. We stayed on a Saturday night. It did make it so we could stay in the southern part of the park though.
