What Guests Are Saying
Indian Cove Campground offers a beautiful, clean, and quiet environment surrounded by stunning rock formations and boulders, ideal for hiking and family fun. Many campsites provide privacy, and facilities like well-maintained pit toilets and water access enhance the experience. While the heat can be intense in summer and some sites may have limited wind protection, overall, visitors find the campground to be a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

What a stunning location! What an inaccurate online reservation process!! We reserved Site 11 for our 25β Class C RV with pictures showing a large level area around the fire pit. On arrival, we immediately found out that the back-in length was maybe 10β long with large boulders preventing any further backing. The parking area had a ~5% grade while the fire area was as perfect - for tents. We drove the campground and looked for sites that hadnβt been reserved according to the website. By the time we found a few that would fit us and attempted to reserve, they came up as βreservedβ, as did Site 35 that we had reserved for the following 2 nights. To our frustration, the sites that would have fit us were never occupied! This has happened repeatedly with the Reserve America reservation system.
This is a stunning campground setting and it would take only a little blade work to make sure that most back in parking was reasonably level. Iβm fairly certain we double paid for our first night at Indian Cove and will likely receive a fine for not showing up in Site 11, which I was unable to cancel at the last minute. Please see my review of the next two nights at Site 35.

Our second two nights in Site 35 were glorious. (Our first nightβs failure in Site 11 and consolation at Site 21 was frustrating to say the least. This due to the Reserve America reservation system being clumsy and not able to take the data required (type of vehicle, length, etc.) and accurately recommend appropriate sites. Site 35 was perfect for our 25β Sprinter RV with single slide out. We watched the sun set on the boulders behind us and the sun rise on the cliffs and boulders in front. And the stars?!! Amazing!

Convenient location right at the entrance of the campgrounds, immediately across a toilet, and just a short walk to the recycling and trash bins. Could be a good thing or bad thing depending on how quiet you like your campgrounds - frequent foot and vehicle traffic will be passing by your site. The site also has a few rock climbing routes, so beware if you are looking for seclusion. Last heads up is that this site is paved from the parking area to the campfire pit, so pitching a tent with stakes in the ground will only be possible closer to Site 2. No cell service in the site itself, but if you walk closer to the recycling/trash bins at the entrance you can possibly get a few bars.

The campsite itself was very nice tucked in between rock formations. The site was primitive as stated in the description, but the area was clean with a vault toilet not far down the road. Not sure why the sign didn't say reserved and there was no one at the office to check in or out the next morning.
