Had a great time. Campsites were clean and orderly. Rangers were all helpful. We did day trips to Ryan Ranch, the Dam Trail. At Cottonwood we hiked to Lost Palms Oasis. All great. Can't wait to go back.

We really enjoyed Indian Cove campground. The sites are spread out and there are no more than five in each turnout. We drove through the other campgrounds in the park, and thought none were as pleasant as Indian Cove. Of course, Indian Cove is not inside the park proper. You have to return to the highway and drive to the entrance in Twenty Nine Palms and if you don't go early you may have long lines.
The restrooms were keep immaculate. We drove to the end of the campground and took the nature walk. Very pleasant. Also one of the trailheads to the Boy Scout Trail are in the park, near the ranger station. The is a nice and flat walk up to the rocks.

Campgrounds were very nice. Everything was well taken care of, the bathrooms were immaculate. What I liked about Indian Cove compared to the other sites within the park is thereβs a lot of space between the sites themselves and then the grouping of each of the sites thereβs only about four or five and then a distance to the next group so that was really pleasant. It is a drawback that you have to go through the entrance gate and drive into the park every day, but we enjoyed the campsite itself very much.

We stayed at site 12. Very spacious site and private. One of the best ones I think. But overall this campground is excellent. We will be back again.

Gorgeous vistas! Campsite was clean and although they are densely packed together, youβre still out in this natural beauty that makes the space expand. Pit toilets were well stocked

Delightful 2 night stay. Clean vault toilets, water at Ranger Station easy to access. Convenient to West and East sides of the park. We hiked the Discovery Trail as our warm up and then to Willow Hole for a great time in the rock formations.
