What Guests Are Saying
Indian Cove Campground offers a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning rock formations, making it ideal for families and friends. Campsites are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with fire pits and picnic tables, with easy access to water nearby. While some sites are close together and noise from activities can be disruptive, many visitors appreciate the friendly atmosphere, great climbing opportunities, and breathtaking stargazing at night.

This site has no cell coverage. Toilet smelled. Noisy.

Site 73 was lovely. Very sheltered. I was worried about winds, but they weren't a problem. Two small tents fit at either side of the site. Unfortunately prior campers had urinated in some of the corners. This made for some unpleasant odors which limited tent placement but not general use of the site. Hopefully the smells will dissipate before you camp.
We enjoyed the 49 Palms Oasis hike and the stroll out to the Wall Street stamp.

Pros: A nice cozy spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of space for a 4 person tent.
Con: The bathrooms are close by, which means that when the wind picks up you will occasionally get hit with the smell of doo doo. If you are sensitive to smells like I am, I would maybe pick a site that is farther away from the toilets.

This is a beautiful campground with sites nestled in the boulders and rocks. Our campsite was a little way from our parking spot. We didn’t realize that it was a park and walk. It all worked out and was worth it to spend our first night under the stars.

Amazing setting, we rock climbed, hiked around the campground and kids loved scrambling on the rocks. Our original campsite was occupied when we arrived, but the camp host was very accommodating and found us an even better campsite for the 2 nights we spent there.

Campgrounds were spectacular locations. Things are hurting with staffing at the entrance gates and maintenance of facilities....

We knew our campsite #31 was a shared parking space with #30. However the 50 yard hike to our area was unexpected. We did get our share of “steps” in that day carrying our goods to site #31. Our next visit we’ll make sure we have our own parking with close-by table and fire pit. Restrooms were clean, great nature trail and this campsite did provide privacy from adjacent sites.
