Indian Cove Campground offers a beautiful setting surrounded by stunning rock formations, making it ideal for families and friends. Campsites are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with fire pits and picnic tables, with easy access to water nearby. Site 30 with its little cave is so amazing. It provides shade in the afternoon a little wind cover. The views from the campsite were amazing

We had a great time tent camping at Indian Cove campground. The sites are compact but we had plenty of room for two tents. The vault toilets were kept clean and well stocked during our four days there. There is no water in the campground but the ranger station just outside had a convenient spigot. This campground is technically part of Joshua Tree but it is not inside the main part of the park. We found this to be a plus. You need to drive to most of the trailheads and sites inside the park anyway, staying out of the main park was quiet and just as beautiful without all the crowds. After checking out some of the other campgrounds, we all agreed that Indian Cove would be our choice again!

Great campground! I unfortunately had climbers walking through my camp spot all day, as I was kind of in the path to a great climbing spot. Check before you setup - I had to move my tent about 10 feet. I'd go again to the same spot 6 in a heartbeat.
