What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

Camp site was as advertise, close to bathroom and dumpsters. Jumbo Rocks is awesome and beautiful! No hookups or showers, but that was to be expected. The park was gorgeous and tons of amazing hiking!

It was great. During our trip the site was mainly empty. Which was suprising. The campsite was clean and the facilities were running great (this was during the shut down).

Good site overall, great proximity to the rocks. Generally enough privacy, but since it's close to a good entrance to the rocks, people walk through the top of you camp.

We stayed in site #38. The campground is equipped with a picnic table, fire pit and bbq. We were able to set up a 12βx9β tent with no problem. The only negative was that it wasnβt perfectly flat. We read reviews that Jumbo Rocks was the best campground in Joshua Tree and we canβt really confirm or deny this because it was our first time there. However, we agree that the location is convenient to all major sightseeing destinations, the beauty of the campground is undeniable and we would definitely stay there again. We loved our time in Joshua Tree and will be going back for sure.

Great location, close to everything . Our site was close to the bathroom. Sites very tightly packed, very close to each other. Also felt like every site had more than 10 people occupying! Lot of pedestrian and car traffic during the day.
