Site 4 has limited space to set up tents and the space it does have is directly next to the fire pit and tables. This made for a slightly crowded feel for a campsite. Still had a great trip!

The camp site was beautiful and our experience there was great. I had never been to the park before and to get to stay there for several days to take everything in was amazing.

Excellent group campground! Very spacious sites with large firepits and bbq grills. Clean pit toilets (psa to look put the seat down to keep the smells out). Great access to Ryan Mountain trail right from the campground plus tons of rocks to scramble nearby both against Ryan and across the road, where you can find nearly instant privacy even on a busy weekend day.
Only weird thing was people scrambling right in our camp while we were eating breakfast (I mean like less than 15 ft away in a big group basically hanging out looking down on us eating). We asked them to leave but it was just weird given how much space there is around camp to choose from, and they weren't climbers doing any specific route.
Other than that, great experience. We went early November so days were pleasant but nights were a little chilly. Given the big fire and early and cold nights puts we plowed through a ton of firewood and ended up swinging through town in the middle of the trip for more. Not a big deal because town is only 30 min away and has some cute coffee shops and restaurants too.

Great campsite in the middle of the park for a larger group. Good scrambling all around.

Great campsite that allows for larger groups. Or even a great campsite for two. Hardly anyone around unlike neighboring Jumbo rocks which is always packed. nice trail from campsite that connects to Ryan Mt. Trailhead as well. Definitely coming back

We have stayed at Sheep Pass countless times. It is our favorite campground in the park We prefer site #6 as it is separate from the other 5 sites. We have anywhere between 6-12 people with 6 vehicles and there is plenty of room.
The only complaint is in regards to making reservations. So many times the sites are listed as "booked" with no availability.
However when we arrive for just a drive through....the sites are empty. This happens every year. No one including the rangers can explain it.
