a little backed up at the front of the park but it seems like the park acknowledges this and is currently building a new entrance station! Love to see it!

Our Cub Scout group of thirty 5-11 year olds had the BEST time camping at Sheeps Pass! We especially liked rockclimbing with Uprising Adventures, and Joshua Tree National Park Rangers Harlan and Jeff who gave an amazing guided tour. Our kids had an amazing time, learned so much, and were inspired to pick up over 750 pieces of trash to help the park's Joshua Trees, animals and other plants. Thank you for all you do to inspire future generations to protect our country’s beautiful natural heritage!

The park rangers do an amazing job of keeping these sites clean - there is a lot of wind in afternoon/evening so don’t leave trash or light things out on the picnic tables. Portapotties were nice - stocked with TP and cleaned every day. Remember to fill up your 5 gallons jugs before/upon entering park, and enjoy !

We have stayed at Sheep Pass for 14 years and think it’s the BEST! The camp sites are very nice and bathrooms are super clean. It is nicely situated within in the park for whatever you want to do.

We’ve stayed at Sheep’s Pass many times before and love the spot. However, we had neighbors at G1 who were blasting music much of the day and into the late night—well past quiet hours. This was a full on sound system booming. The second night I was so sick of the noise I drove for 20 minutes looking for a ranger (there is no cell service). I couldn’t go all the way to the main gate because I was traveling with kids and didn’t want to be gone too long, and I didn’t feel comfortable asking them to quiet down because it seemed like alcohol and who knows what else were involved at this personal Coachella. This was such a disappointment for a family who loves nature and getting away from it all.
That said, the site was beautiful and we did a few new hikes this time that we were happy to have explored. The restrooms were rustic but clean. So many blooming flowers and birds/wildlife out and about this time of year!
