We had a great family vacation. We have been camping at New Hogan now for about 40 years and we always have a good time.

The lake is very enjoyable for boating. Sadly with budget cuts, there is limited staff at this campground. No person to man the gates, and no camp hosts. The dry grass is a worry for fires, in past years it was cut down. We enjoyed our time.

We camp here every year, and we really love it. The campgrounds are clean, the bathrooms are clean-ish. The sites are good sized, and affordable. It is a family-like atmosphere.

Seems like when the rangers leave for the night there is some sketchy people driving around and parked. We had a ski vest taken from our sight.Lesson learned not to leave a thing out

My campsite was a great location. Water just a walk away and bathroom right across. The women’s bathroom need to install waste bins for female products as 2nd night there someone started throwing used products on the floor and that was nasty. Cleaners did come clean the restrooms in the morning so that was nice until whoever the person was used the restroom again.

My family and I had been looking forward to a peaceful retreat in the outdoors, and while the natural setting and views did not disappoint, several maintenance-related issues significantly diminished our experience.

Campground is in a great location. 7 mins away is civilization if you forget something. The lake is right there and there are showers that are free. I would come back again!

The campsite itself we had would have perfect. Except that on both sides of us people at campsites had 40 to 50 people 10 or 15 cars 10 to 12 tents inside so we’re not designed for 2cars and six people. They played music. They registered on my decimal app on my phone and nearly 80 dB inside of our camper. They played music literally screamed and made noise until after 2:30 in the morning. There’s absolutely no staff of the campground to take control and tell them to be quiet. The bathrooms were filthy and way overcrowded because there was 10 times more people the campground that should’ve been allowed. Whoever runs this campground should be fired.
