Snug Harbor Resort

My family and I 1st ever coming to Snug. 1017/25 thru the 19th. A time was had. absolute blast. Staff was definitely extremely nice. Ms. Ace And Ms. Rachel. Extremely nice. Not just the staff were amazing. The people we met there were extremely friendly. Are neighbors were the bomb. We can't wait to get back. .

Snug Harbor is off the beaten path literally. It's quiet, good customer service, and friendly residents and visitors. It has a good sized dog park with doggy bags, playground for the kids, beach area, and outdoor bathrooms. They are adjusting to the new management which is a good thing. No laundry facilities though. The downsides are the slough brings in a lot of algae and it's an hour from Sacramento or 30 minutes to a store which there is a ferry that takes you to Rio Vista. The ferry isn't far from Snug Harbor. They do have some supplies in their store which is inside the office.

I absolutely fell in love with this place! It’s such a family-friendly park with great amenities. The staff were very accommodating and made sure all our needs were taken care of. I also appreciate how clean the park is — and the relaxing water views made it even more special for me and my kids. 🥰 We’re already looking forward to coming back again next year!

This resort has such great potential. It is finally under new ownership AND management. The new manager is awesome. She works her tail off, but she needs help from owners to get this place up to par. A little paint, new lattice work and deck repairs on cottages would go really far. The grounds are looking up, but the weeds/burs and lack of pads for RV's is unfortunate. The store needs stocked. Campers would benefit greatly having access to items they forgot, or things they didn't know they needed. That a great profit opportunity as well. Also the docks desperately need repair. It wouldn't take much to make this a great place to stay. The ferry is inconvenient sometimes, but it's nice, quiet and out of the way and that's what makes it good. It could be great. I think it will be with a small investment under great management.

I visited Snug Harbor on vacation and I had a wonderful stay! I stayed there a few years ago and there's a new manager now and they were very helpful and friendly. The location has had many improvements and it was very clean and well-kept! The cabin I stayed in was super comfortable, had everything I needed, and I would definitely stay in it again in the future. There were tons of fun amenities and it was very family-friendly. All in all a great stay and I'm excited to return again!
