Wimpy’s California Delta Resort

Just a kind of restaurant you find up on the levee on the rivers. And they’re not ashamed to show their patriotism with several flags flying. Don’t expect white tablecloth and doilies because the seating inside is rustic and basic, but the service is great. Outdoor seating is awesome Down at the river. If you happen to be on the boat on the river, there’s plenty of place to tie up at the dock and they even have a boat launch. If your your hankering for hamburger, be hungry because these are some giant burgers. Adult beverages are served at the bar with the happy go lucky mixologist. Best of all the prices are fair. By boat or car this is a place to stop.

I've been here as a kid many times, and I went back today. It still has the same friendly, family, down-home atmosphere I remember!! Lexi the server greeted me on my way in, and she is so kind. Kori the bartender relished in some memories with me and poured me a strong drink. Matt the cook made me a perfectly cooked burger. I felt like I was surrounded by the best food and people. This restaurant is a timeless treasure on the delta, and everyone and everything about it is simply perfect.

Great place to go largemouth bass fishing , Good restaurants & food in case you get hungry , Also has bars to party

Wimpy's is a fun place to be. Claim to fame is their Wimpy's burger 🍔. Great homemade fries too. It's a Marina, restaurant, and bar with pleasant outside dining. Looks like it's getting a makeover outside in back, resort style. Also looked like a music stage may be going up when we were there today. And thatched coverings all around. Stopped in today while driving the River road, Hwy 160 in the Delta.

We had an exceptional visit to Wimpy's. Barbara was a great, attentive barmaid and Alan, the dishwasher/busboy, plays a mean game of Uno. Everyone was friendly and the food was so awesome we decided to stay after dinner so we could enjoy breakfast the next day.....
