What Guests Are Saying
Minersville Campground offers a cozy atmosphere with beach access, well-maintained restrooms, and a pleasant level of privacy due to its limited campsites. Many guests enjoyed the welcoming environment and nearby amenities, such as the Trinity Lake Resort & Marina. However, some visitors noted concerns about noise from weekend groups and found the pricing for certain sites to be high, especially when lacking hookups.

Very nice campground. Feels somewhat remote. Upon returning from our backpacking trip, we were able to walk directly from camp, down to the lake (low, but not gone in 2023) and fall in the water, hiking clothes and all. The water felt great!
Campsite #1 isn't optimal because it is heavily illuminated by the bathroom's utility light. Not sure why that light is on, since the utility door is locked at night anyway.

Spot #6 has zero shade until around 7:30 PM. Trees around the space but the only shade option is underneath the picnic table. It's overgrown and has lots of poison oak. My assumption is that no one has used it in a long time which is why it's overgrown. We ended up leaving because the temps were in the high 90's this weekend. If you are here in the fall, it might be a good spot. Summer is a no-go for this spot.

Spot #5 has minimal shade but is mostly shady in the late afternoon to evening. There isn't a lot of flat ground for tents so bring a hard rake to make your own, that's what we did. The bathrooms are very clean and the maintenance man was extremely helpful. The lake is very, very low so getting to it from the camp spot is very tough. You have to go about 2 mi down the road to the marina or the boat ramp area. Do not camp here if you are after lakeside camping, it's not that! If you do, bring mosquito spray. They had a feast on us!

Restroom well kept and clean! Campsites spacious and well kept also. Be careful not to let kids or animals play to close to restrooms due to an abundant amount of poison oak growing near that area.

This Lake is not at all nice when it comes to lakeside relaxing. the water levels are EXTREMELY low and you will need to hike down about 200 yards to reach the water. This is a MUST have boat lake if you want to have any fun at all. Do not Recommend this Lake unless you have a boat!
