Rick and Linda were great! Friendly, informative and just nice to meet. The campsite was clean, peaceful and just what the soul needed. Definitely worth a return visit.

The campground has not water or toilets. I wish they did! At least outhouses. The whole park has no campground that will take a small trailer that isn't "self-contained" (no bathroom in the trailer). We can't take our teardrop trailer to the tent campgrounds but can't use the RV campground easily without water.
I also wish there was more space between campsites. They are just all in a row in one long parking lot. Not very private or "outdoorsy" feeling. Otherwise, it's a nice little spot.

We had an absolutely amazing time!! The weather was perfect, so much wild life to watch. Had a perfect hike to Brandy falls we will be back!

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fees & deposits
- Show proof of payment for your campsite and pay a vehicle entrance fee.
- A vehicle entrance fee and pass are required for entry into Whiskeytown National Park.
Safety & rules
- Be aware of post-fire hazards like falling trees and branches in the park.
- Generators and loud noises are prohibited after 10 p.m.
Site types & loops
- Only self-contained vehicles are allowed for sleeping; tents are prohibited.
Fires & fuel
- Ground fires and fires in portable fire pits are prohibited.
Wildlife & food storage
- Store all food and toiletries out of sight in your vehicle to avoid attracting bears.
Pets
- Keep pets in a cage or on a leash (max 6 feet) and do not leave them unattended.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days from April 1 to October 31 and a maximum of 30 days per calendar year.
