What Guests Are Saying
Visitors enjoyed the campground and praised the park service, noting it as a favorite spot for family gatherings. However, there were issues with accessing the gate and restrooms due to a reservation mix-up, which caused delays. A notable downside was the inability to have campfires.

We were given a combination to unlock the gate, but the lock required a key. We called park HQ and they had no record of our reservation. It took an hour to get the gate unlocked. Then we discovered the restrooms were all locked. Ugh. Nice otherwise.

Great area. Close to the water and a lot of room for all our tents. Other than having to tell kayakers and boaters to leave it was great. Rangers and deputy were helpful. Would definitely do it again.

Great place but random people may drive through the area and even attempt to camp at your campsite. They tried to deter this by closing the gate and providing a lock code, but people will forget to lock it and transients will still come by.

We've camped there many times now. It would be nice to have running water, flushing toilets, and a few more level sites.

{"text"=>"Super big camp spot, place to launch a boat right from the camp spot. Only two camp spots are available, and the bathrooms are ok. They are clean, but the smell is pretty bad. They close the gates and lock it to the property. Lots of trees for shade.", "languageCode"=>"en"}
