What Guests Are Saying
Brandy Creek Primitive Campground offers a peaceful and fairly private camping experience with individual composting toilets at each site. While the campsites are exposed to the sun and wind, the abundance of trees provides necessary shade. Although there are no facilities, the nearby beach and the sound of a creek enhance the overall ambiance.

Good spot, away from the lake but that was ok, pretty quiet if site below is quiet. I would stay there again

The trees and brush are slowy starting to grow back. The sites are pretty exposed, so hot sun during the day and windy at night. Other than that, they are nice, out of the way, fairly private campsites each having their own composting toilet.
The undergrowth is coming back with a vengance, so while there's an abundance of dead wood to harvest, getting to it will be challenging without a lot of bushwacking.

There are no facilities but lots of trees for needed shade and the beach is nearby.

Site #1 was peaceful with a limited but nice view of Whiskeytown Lake. Two picnic tables, a fire-ring, bearproof storage box. You could hear a nearby creek/small waterfall but was not visible from the campsite.

People were in our campsite. Then it was too hot to stay and no fires allowed. Total trip was a bust.

Sad to see so much fire damage but beautiful to see everything coming back and enjoyed the wildflowers!

Broken bear locker, no picnic table, dirty, exposed, campsite 2 full of broken glass, trash and trash, so we could not use it as alternative. We had to abandon the campsite and ended up paying $40 in another campground. Both of the campsites should not be open until they are fixed.
