Sheep Camp Primitive Campground offers four sites, with Site 4 featuring bear boxes and picnic tables for larger groups. It's conveniently located near Brandy Creek, providing access to a swimming hole and trailheads. This campground has 4 sites, ranging from small to a double sized site. Site 4 has 2 bear boxes and 2 picnic tables to accommodate more people. Site 1 is closer to the creek, but quite small (no more than a standard 4 person tent). Campground is close to a swimming hole on brandy creek and connects to 2 trailheads directly. There is a vault toilet - no running water. Closest water is at brandy creek beach upper parking area (there are also flushing toilets and sinks there). There are no showers so you need to bathe in the creek (cold) or lake. Area surrounding burned in 2018 and is recovering, however, the site itself was spared and the surrounding area is quite beautiful. You will probably encounter loud/unruly campers from Thursday through the weekend. If it's peace you're looking for, try for Monday through Thursday morning.

Very beautiful and primitive. Easily the most tranquil sites I have ever visited.

Very secluded very primitive camp. No side traffic use the adjacent road, only 8 cars allowed for this site
Cold stream is right next to the camp to get water for camp bag-showers or washing dishes. The lake is 10 minutes away.

Nice area, but campsites were very close to one another. We had to ask our neighbor to turn their flood light off on a Sunday at 11pm to sleep. Otherwise well maintained and remote location. Will opt for dispersed camping next time.

It was very clean and not a single car drove past all night.

Great small campground. Only four tent sites, but the campground is out of the way and rather quiet. There was only one other site used when we stayed there and it was very quiet and relaxing. It's a bit hard to find a level spot for the tent, but it was still okay. Would definitely come back.
