Very pleasant stay. Very helpful Camp Host. The site was clean, very spacious, and was quite away from your neighbors so there was lots of privacy.

Campsite 70 is a bummer, with no shade at all. But our amazing camp host, Taylor, was able to snag us a great spot for our 2nd night even though it was 4th of July weekend. We were so grateful.
Unfortunately, we had neighbors who had about 10 people on their site and had a raging, drunken party until 2:15am. We were pretty disappointed that someone didn’t come and tell them to be quiet. It was a real bummer and we barely slept.
But as a whole, the campground was nice and we’ll be back.

Campsite was nice and shaded with easy access to water and 2 bathrooms. Bathrooms were a little stinky and dirty, wasn’t the best experience. I also wish that the camp hosts would enforce quiet hours a little more since a lot of the nearby campsites were loud and playing music until midnight.

Camp host was very friendly and helpful. The area is very beautiful, full of trees. Sites, for the most part, have plenty of shade. Tent camping in some of the sites are a little challenging, specially finding a level place to pitch your tent, so make sure you choose wisely. If your in a RV then for the most part you are fine. 3rd time we have been here and we'll be back. Earlier in the season has less bugs to contend with, later in the season the mosquitos are very plentiful, bring your protection.

The location is very convenient and without the mountain driving. Asphalt roads and sites need attention.

Very well-maintained campground with some good views and plenty of shady sites. The hiking trail that encircles the park is a terrific bonus as well!

Originally booked site #44, unfortunately when I arrived I realized there was another site right next to mine that was not on the map. I would not book this site unless you are also booking the site next door. I began to set up and realized my tent would only be a few feet away from the other sites hammock. The photo of this site does not match the current layout, the picnic table has been moved causing the only location to set up your tent to be directly next to the site next door. After about an hour of pondering I noticed site #45 was empty and had a first come sign that indicated to take it either to the hosts or check in. I drove to both sites the sign said and I did not see any hosts, I then drove to North Resort where I had checked in. No one was at the front desk, I stood there for a few minutes and no one came. I finally walked off to the side of the counter and saw someone and was helped. I appreciate that I was moved spots but the woman was not friendly about it at all and at first, stated that the campground was full.
The 3 stars are for site #45 only. It is a beautiful site with great views! This site is right across from the bathroom and water access. Like other reviews stated it does get very windy here, it was extremely windy at night and in the morning which made it difficult to cook meals.
I am not sure I would come back to this campground with so many others around but I had a good time overall.

First time visiting this campground and was very pleased by it. The bathrooms were clean and for a pit toilet, smelled surprisingly good. The campground was clean, and it was easy to find our specific site. Our site was spacious, flat and had a good amount of shade throughout the day. It was surprisingly windy at night (June 23-25) and actually got a little chilly. The camp host, Taylor, was extremely nice and friendly. She provided information on a hike that goes around the entire campground and always greeted us with a smile and friendly tone. One of the best hosts I have encountered! I look forward to coming back again soon with my family!

Beautiful campground. Lots of birds and big trees. Bathrooms were clean and lots of them around. Campsites are big and plenty of space between sites. I will definitely return to this campground.
