The campsite was well kept and had beautiful views. It was relatively empty middle of week in June. Fast trip to and from San Gabriel valley.

This place is gorgeous, well maintained, and has some of the most friendly camp hosts I've met. Be forewarned that if you have a larger trailer (28' Airstream here), the lower loops around site 114 get VERY VERY tight and may rash your tires as you go around the corner. Tight spaces for trailers and limited to no parking if you're total length doesn't fit in the space.

- We went first week of June 2023
varied from no service to two bars (At&T). Could sometimes even search the internet.get email and other times get no service at all
- Small amount of mosquitoes.
- Drop toilets were well kept. Toilet paper was actually easy to remove and use. No flies and no smell. No flush toilets or sink and no showers.
- Water spouts are throughout and each site had fire ring/grate and a table. NO BEAR BIN at our site but we did see some other sites with bear bins.
- Before entrance to the campsite is a store/bar area. You can get wood, listen to live music (depending on day) and even order food.

Campsites are nicely spaced out. Plenty of room between sites. Campgrounds routinely patrolled by site management. Pretty forested campground. The $8.00 reservation fee is excessive.
