Table Mountain is a great place to get away. We even had the bonus 2:00am thunderstorm this year (an extremely entertaining great thing!) Bathrooms are always kept clean, water faucets in good order, campsites well maintained, and friendly and helpful camp hosts.

Been more than a decade since I’d previously stayed here.
Unfortunately, they doubled the lots it seems, so that other campers are within talking distance; furthermore, there’s no adherence to “quiet times”, with the camp host not saying anything to large groups that sit at a fire and sing and bang one water bottles and large water canteen containers (as drums). The singing going on until past 1:30am, when I finally passed out. I understand that the campsite is now managed by a private company for the Park Rangers, but you’d think that they’d adhere to basic rules. The site was clean and free from any trash. Most every camper was polite and shared the area.
Weekdays would probably serve better. Avoiding the Friday and Saturday night parties from the city who just want to do what they do. Being used to possibly camping in remote desert area where they can recreate as they like.
The location, I’d give a 9/10.
The enjoyment of the area, a 7-8.
But the other loud groups a 5/10.
Share the space in need be.
Not subject everyone, to your noise pollution.
Just saying.

The sites aren't all good for RV's, a lot of them are angled wrong to back into. The camp hosts are always nice and helpful.

This is my favorite getaway. 90 minutes from home and it’s right in the trees. Gorgeous sunsets and views for days. This is a hiker, camper, couch potatoes perfect heaven.
