Park ranger was very thorough with instructions, esp about bear safety. Super important if you’re a first time bear country camper.
Camp is about 45min drive down to the valley.
Campgrounds are somewhat close to each other. Bathrooms were clean. We heard coyotes howling near by on our last morning there. Overall pleasant experience for someone who spent most of the day in the park rather than at camp

This campsite was chef's kiss! Great location, so picturesque, quaint sites with just enough room. We had location 71 and it was not too far from the bathrooms. Beautiful campfire site on a hill that we went to at night to stargaze at. The facilities were well maintained. The rangers were so nice. The campsite was 30 minutes to town and 15 minutes to glacier point. Will definitely be back!

Awesome campground if you want to be up in the mountains away from everything. Scenic drives up to the site and about 40 minutes from the valley.

Site 55 is perfectly level, the parking lot is spacious and adjacent to the campsite and picnic table. The restrooms were clean and close to the campsite, but not directly above it. This campground is perfect for exploring the Glacier Point area until late without having to drive the dangerous roads at night. Lucky 55 :)
