Restrooms could use some scrub down. Walls and stalls were kind of dingy and there were occasional water pooling in some stalls. There was a dead mouse floating in the wash basin for almost a whole day. Some campers were still loud up until midnite and I guess there isnt a camp host around to talk to them? They were SO loud. Wifi signal would have been nice to have.

Taking the bus from the gas station is the way to go! Unfortunately, the YARTS bus was about an hour late one day, so we thought the driver had blown us off - has to be some way to inform people there has been a delay!
Also found out the hikers bus from the valley to Tuolnme stops at Crane Flat. We could not and still can't find that information on line!

Very well maintained campground in a nice grove of towering trees. Bathrooms, food chest, and campsite were clean. Easy to navigate the campground.
Only complaints: a bit dusty and campsites are very close to each other

Very clean campground! A little more private and tucked away than the valley but worth it. Also the bathroom's were very clean! Definitely would stay again.

Great campground and campsite. Solid distance from neighbors on each side and across the street, wilderness on the backside. Easy drive to get into the valley, highly recommend Crane Flat!

Site 512, great site with neighbors only on one side! They were a distance away and plants separated the two sites, so it felt isolated. Bathroom is close, about 2 sites distance. Very quiet campground. I would book the same site again! The site was flat and spacious enough for our large tent. There's a lot of tiny rocks, so if you dont have a sleep mat you'll need a rake. Only 30 minutes from the valley! No cell service, T-mobile.
