Nice campground near the park entrance. Site is in a cluster of campsites next to the parking area so easy set up.

Campground was good but site 57 was not a good location- right next to the bathroom, not enough space for 2 tents, located in a cluster of campsites so close to each other the people at the adjacent campsite stayed up late talking and kept us up.

Extremely overcrowded with no campsite/trail etiquette. If you are hoping to experience nature, this is not the place. The campsite is more akin to a Walmart parking lot only good for people watching.

Not for tent camping.

This is a handy place to stay in Yosemite when nothing else is available. We stayed in the "hike in" sites and found them very closely spaced and located on slopes that were difficult to place tents on. If the sites were placed a little further from the road and parking spaces it would be easy to find flat spots for tents and a little more space and privacy. But there are signs posted saying that camping is not permitted beyond the boundaries of the campsite so people are packed in pretty tight. That said, this is a good staging area for adventures in the national park!

Walk-in campsites really aren't very far from the parking lots.

I wasn’t expecting the walking campsite. It’s tough carrying a ice chest to a bearbox up and down a hill. The whole campground is very hilly so tough to sleep in your vehicle when it’s not flat.

Close to the valley and Tioga Pass Rd. Just inside the park entrance. Campsites are crowded and tightly bunched. Maybe it was just the weather, but sites were very smoky from all the campfires. Would stay again mostly due to the convenience to the park's highlights.

We rolled in very late and check in was very easy to manage the next day. Our group camping sites were very spacious. We especially enjoyed being at the end of the campground where the kids could play in the woods where we could still see them. There was ample space in the bear lockers for all of our toiletries and food items. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

Hodgdon Meadow camping was really fun for our group. Site 34 is indeed on an incline. I thought I found a level ground to set up our tent but we found ourselved slipping throughout the night. Beware of ants that come out especially at night. A bit of a walk to the bathrooms and wash area but no overall major complaints.
